  • General description: Vial septa are available in a variety of materials. Septa are selected based on the chemical properties of the sample and the temperature to which the vial will be subjected during the analysis. PTFE/Silicone septa are for use with most organic solvents but chlorosilanes. It has good reseal ability and can withstand a temperature of 250°C.
