Description

  • General description: Method: photometric, SPADNS 0.02 - 2.00 mg/l F Spectroquant® This Spectroquant® Fluoride test allows the accurate quantification of fluoride ions in various waters. Fluoride ions occur on earth in several minerals, but are only present in trace quantities in bodies of water in nature. Fluoride ions react with part of a red zirconium-dye solution to form a colorless complex, which in turn results in a bleaching of the red color (SPADNS method). The concentration of the unconsumed zirconium-dye solution is subsequently determined photometrically. The method is analogous to APHA 4500-F- D. All our Cell and Reagent Test Kits are equipped with the unique Live ID (2D barcode) which allows seamless method recognition and contains essential information such as lot number, expiry date, and automatic calibration updates. The Spectroquant® Reagent Test Kits contain highly stable, ready-to-use reagent mixtures to perform the analysis according to the procedure described in the accompanying instruction leaflet.
