- General description: Method: photometric 0.050 - 10.00 mg/l Cl₂ 0.036 - 7.26 mg/l NH₂Cl 0.010 - 1.98 mg/l NH₂Cl-N Spectroquant®This Spectroquant® Monachloramine Reagent Test allows the accurate quantification of the monochloramine content in water samples and disinfectant solutions. Method applied: In the presence of a catalyst, monochloramine (NH2Cl) reacts with thymol to form a blue indophenol derivative which is determined photometrically. The Spectroquant® Reagent Test Kits contain highly stable, ready-to-use reagent mixtures to perform the analysis according to the procedure described in the accompanying instruction leaflet. All our Cell and Reagent Test Kits are equipped with the unique Live ID (2D barcode) which allows seamless method recognition and contains essential information such as lot number, expiry date, and automatic calibration updates.
