Description
- General description: Method: photometric 0.001 - 0.100 mg/l As Spectroquant®The method is analogous to EPA 206.4, APHA 3500-As B, and ASTM D2972-15 A. This Spectroquant® Arsenic Reagent Test allows the accurate quantification of the arsenic content in aqueous samples. Method applied: In acidic solution arsenic compounds are reduced by a reducing-agent mixture consisting of zinc, tin(II) chloride, and potassium iodide to form arsine which reacts in an absorption tube with silver diethyldithiocarbamate to form a red compound that is determined photometrically. The Spectroquant® Reagent Test Kits contain highly stable, ready-to-use reagent mixtures to perform the analysis according to the procedure described in the accompanying instruction leaflet. All our Cell and Reagent Test Kits are equipped with the unique Live ID (2D barcode) which allows seamless method recognition and contains essential information such as lot number, expiry date, and automatic calibration updates.
