Description

  • Application: Simultaneous determination of monochloropropanediol esters and glycidyl esters in vegetable oils by acidic transesterification-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.: This study by Wang et al. presents a method for detecting harmful compounds in vegetable oils using sulfuric acid for transesterification, followed by GC-MS analysis (Wang et al., 2022).Evaluation of an improved acid hydrolysis-HPLC assay for the acetyl content in chitin and chitosan.: Ng et al. developed an enhanced HPLC method for measuring acetyl content in biopolymers, utilizing sulfuric acid for hydrolysis to ensure accurate quantification (Ng et al., 2006).
