Description

  • General description: Ammonium hexafluorophosphate decomposes on heating before melting. Solubility of ammonium hexafluorophosphate in H2O at 20oC is 74.8% w/v. Additionally, it is very soluble in Me2CO, MeOH, EtOH and MeOAc, and is decomposed by boiling mineral acids.[1]
  • Application: Ammonium hexafluorophosphate is used to synthesize polyethylene oxide based highly conductive non aqueous polymer gel electrolytes exhibiting high conductivity (>10-2S/cm at 25oC)[2]
