  • Application: Ammonium thiocyanate may be used in the synthesis of the following:Substituted 2-aminothiazole derivatives by reacting with [5]-halo ketone carbonyls in the presence of N-methylimidazole.5Thiiranes from corresponding oxiranes in the presence of lithium tetrafluoroborate.[6]
