  • General description: Diisopropylamine (DIPA) is an aliphatic secondary amine widely used as an organic base in organic synthesis. Its standard molar enthalpy of formation and combustion has been measured by static-bomb calorimetry.[1]
  • Application: Diisopropylamine (DIPA) may be used in the following syntheses:diisopropylamine methyl urea (DMU)[2]N,N-diisopropyl quinoline-2-carboxamide[3]3-N-sulfonylamidine coumarins[4]N-chloroamine, an intermediate to generate amides[5]
