Description

  • General description: Certipur® buffer solution [di-sodium hydrogen phosphate/potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer; pH 6.88 (20 °C)] is intended for use as a calibration standard for pH instruments or pH electrodes or as a control sample for measuring the pH value. The ready-to-use Certipur® buffer solutions are prepared gravimetrically in our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory from high-purity salts, acids and bases diluted in high-purity water. All balances are regularly calibrated with analytical weight sets traceable to primary standard reference materials from NIST and PTB. The pH-value is measured to the highest precision using a combined glass electrode after 5-point calibration (according to DIN 19268) against reference buffer solutions (according to DIN 19266, IUPAC, NIST, Ph.Eur. and USP).
  • Application: Catalytic green synthesis of Tin(IV) oxide nanoparticles for phenolic compounds removal and molecular docking with EGFR tyrosine kinase.: This study presents a green synthesis method for Tin(IV) oxide nanoparticles, demonstrating their efficacy in removing phenolic compounds and interacting with EGFR tyrosine kinase, which is relevant for potential cancer therapy applications (Alshahateet et al., 2024). In vitro inhibition of biofilm and virulence factor production in azole-resistant strains of Candida albicans isolated from diabetic foot by Artemisia vulgaris stabilized tin (IV) oxide nanoparticles.: This research explores the application of Tin(IV) oxide nanoparticles stabilized with Artemisia vulgaris in inhibiting biofilm formation and virulence factor production in drug-resistant Candida albicans, highlighting its potential in combating infections in diabetic patients (Zubair et al., 2023). Enhanced electrocatalytic activity of Pt-SnO(2) nanoparticles supported on natural bentonite-functionalized reduced graphene oxide-extracted chitosan from shrimp wastes for methanol electro-oxidation.: The study demonstrates the enhanced electrocatalytic activity of Tin(IV) oxide nanoparticles in methanol electro-oxidation, which is crucial for fuel cell technologies (Aryafar et al., 2023). KIT-5-Assisted Synthesis of Mesoporous SnO(2) for High-Performance Humidity Sensors with a Swift Response/Recovery Speed.: This research focuses on the synthesis of mesoporous Tin(IV) oxide using KIT-5 templates for developing high-performance humidity sensors, emphasizing its application in environmental monitoring and control systems (Vojisavljević et al., 2023).
