Description
- General description: Metanil Yellow (MY) belongs to the azo group of dyes.[1]
- Application: Metanil Yellow (MY) may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of MY in:Lipsticks and eye shadows by microwave-assisted dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (MA-DLLME) using solidification of the floating organic droplet (SFOD) clean-up followed by analysis using high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection (HPLC-DAD).[2]Ball-point pen ink,[3] in paper ink[4] and in turmeric raw materials as well as finished products by HPLC-DAD.[5]
