- Application: Dexamethasone is used as a pharmaceutical primary standard to quantify the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations using liquid chromatography (LC) technique.[2]
- Biochem/physiol Actions: Glucocorticoid anti-inflammatory agent. Regulates T cell survival, growth, and differentiation. Inhibits the induction of nitric oxide synthase.
