- Recent evidence has shown that ZEB2 is often observed in the cytoplasm in numerous cancer tissues, indicating that its localization may be regulated in normal and tumor tissues
- Mutations in this gene are also associated with Hirschsprung disease/Mowat-Wilson syndrome.
