- CD105 (Endoglin is a Type I transmembrane protein) is highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells and exists on an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer

- Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms of CD105 have been found
- Diseases associated with CD105 dysfunction include hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia.
