  • Description: Anti-human IFN-gamma (GZ-4) specifically recognizes natural IFN-gamma from human T-lymphocytes as well as recombinant human IFN-gamma produced in E.coli
  • BMS107FI is suitable for intracellular staining of IFN-gamma, as primary antibody in staining for FACS analysis, and can be used for direct staining of cells
  • BMS107BT can be used in a 2-step procedure using the biotin-(strept)avidin system
  • BMS107 can be used as a neutralizing agent
  • In a bioassay using inhibitionof the cytopathic encephalomyocarditis virus effect on human lung carcinoma cell line A459, it has been determined that less than 400 ng of BMS107 are necessary to neutralize the antiviral activity of 1 Unit IFN-gamma BMS107 does not cross react with human IFN-alpha, IFN-beta and IFN-omega

  • IFN gamma is a dimeric protein consisting of two 146 amino acid subunits
  • IFN gamma is a glycoprotein that exists, functionally, as a homodimer of approximately 45 kDa

  • IFN gamma is upregulated by IL2, FGF basic, EGF and downregulated by vitamin D3 or DMN
  • IFN gamma gene mutations are associated with aplastic anemia.
