- Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Bilirubin Oxidase [Myrothecium verrucaria]
- Cross reactivity against Bilirubin Oxidase from other sources is unknown
- Bilirubin Oxidase oxidizes bilirubin and other tetrapyrroles.
