- The association of Mms2 to Ubc13 forms an active heterodimer that is involved in error-free post replicative DNA repair in yeast
- Upon complexing with another conjugating enzyme variant, Uev1a, Ubc13 participates in the regulation of NF-kB signal transduction pathway in humans.
