- Anti-Human Eotaxin-2 (CCL24)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human Eotaxin-2 (CCL24) matrix
- Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human Eotaxin-2 (CCL24) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required
- This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human Eotaxin-2 (CCL24) (500-P103GBt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human Eotaxin-2 (CCL24)
- Western Blot: To detect Human Eotaxin-2 (CCL24) by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL
- Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human Eotaxin-2 (CCL24) is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions
- Eotaxin 2 belongs to the subfamily of small cytokine CC genes
- Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes
- The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines
- The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity on resting T lymphocytes, a minimal activity on neutrophils, and is negative on monocytes and activated T lymphocytes
- The protein is also a strong suppressor of colony formation by a multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cell line.
