- Anti-Human CTACK (CCL27)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated
- Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human CTACK by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mL/well) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required
- This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti- Human CTACK (500-P294) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human CTACK
- Western Blot: To detect Human CTACK by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 mg/mL
- When used in conjunction with compatible development reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human CTACK is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions
- 500-P294BT-1MG will be provided as 2 x 500 μg CCL27 gene is one of several CC cytokine genes clustered on the p-arm of chromosome 9
- Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes
- The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines
- The protein encoded by this gene is chemotactic for skin-associated memory T lymphocytes
- This cytokine may also play a role in mediating homing of lymphocytes to cutaneous sites
- It specifically binds to chemokine receptor 10 (CCR10)
- Studies of a similar murine protein indicate that these protein-receptor interactions have a pivotal role in T cell-mediated skin inflammation.
