Test Specificity

Detects human Cathepsin A/Lysosomal Carboxypeptidase A in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In Western blots, detects the single chain (55 kDa) and heavy chain (32 kDa) forms of recombinant human (rh) Cathepsin A. In Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with rhCathepsin B, C, D, E, L, O, S, X and Z is observed and no cross-reactivity with the light chain (20 kDa) of rhCathepsin A is observed.
