- Description: The monoclonal antibody AT130-2 reacts with mouse CD32b, also known as Fc-gamma receptor IIb
- CD32b is the only inhibitory member of the Fc-gamma receptor family
- Immune complex engagement of CD32b results in the phosphorylation of its intracellular ITIM motif
- This engagement serves to attenuate B cell receptor (BCR) signaling and other activating signals, reduces proliferation, reduces antibody production, and may also deliver apoptotic signals
- CD32b is the only Fc-gamma receptor expressed by B cells
- CD32b is also expressed on monocytes, dendritic cells, neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils, as well as B cell progenitors and plasma cells
- AT130-2 has been reported to have agonist activity
- Applications Reported: This AT130-2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: This AT130-2 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes
- This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 μg per test
- A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL
- Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test
- It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest

- This gene encodes one member of a family of immunoglobulin Fc receptor genes found on the surface of many immune response cells
- The protein encoded by this gene is a cell surface receptor found on phagocytic cells such as macrophages and neutrophils, and is involved in the process of phagocytosis and clearing of immune complexes
- Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
