Description
- Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration

- Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Biotin, anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Protein A [Staphylococcus aureus]
- Cross reactivity against Protein A from other sources is unknown
- Protein A is an Orphan-U GPCR with an unknown ligand
- This gene was identified from genomic analysis of a gene-dense region at human chromosome 12p13
- It appears to be expressed mainly in the brain
- However, its function is not known
- Three alternatively spliced variants have been described; the full length of the third variant is yet to be determined.
