  • Description: The mA-6E1 monoclonal antibody reacts with the heavy chain of mouse IgA
  • It does not react with other isotypes of antibody, including IgD, IgG or IgM, or with other species isotypes
  • IgA, which is mainly found as a dimer through association of the J chain, is found in mucous secretions, but not in plasma
  • Fluorochrome conjugated mA-6E1 is used as a detection secondary for mouse IgA primary antibodies
  • Applications Reported: This mA-6E1 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis
  • Applications Tested: This mA-6E1 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes stained with a mouse IgA primary antibody
  • This may be used at less than or equal to 0.25 μg per test
  • A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL
  • Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test
  • It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest
