Description
- Clone FUN-1 reacts with the human form of CD86, the 80kDa cell surface protein, B70/B7-2, found on monocytes, dendritic cells and on activated B cells
- CD86 plays an important role as a costimulatory molecule during primary immune response
- Clone FUN-1 also cross-reacts with a subset of peripheral blood monocytes of baboon and both rhesus and cynomolgus macaque monkeys
- The staining pattern on monocytes is similar to that observed with peripheral blood monocytes from normal human donors
- This antibody is routinely tested by flow cytometric analysis
- Other applications were tested at BD Biosciences Pharmingen during antibody development only or reported in the literature
