  • SN38 exerts its anti-cancer effects by inhibiting the action of topoisomerase I, an enzyme involved in DNA replication and repair
  • By inhibiting this enzyme, SN38 prevents DNA from unwinding, leading to the accumulation of DNA damage and μgtimately inducing cell death in cancer cells.
