50 mM sodium borate with 0.05% sodium azide

Gene Symbols

NGFR

Immunogen

NGFR from A875 melanoma cells (NGFR5); Recombinant human p75 NGFR protein (NTR/912)

Primary or Secondary

Primary

Test Specificity

It recognizes a glycoprotein of 75kDa, identified as low affinity Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) Receptor (p75NGFR) or Neurotrophin Receptor (p75NTR). NGFR is expressed in various neural crest cells and their tumors such as melanocytes, melanomas, neuroblastomas, pheochromocytomas and neurofibromas. Reportedly, anti-NGFR is a reliable marker for desmoplastic and neurotropic melanomas. NGFR is expressed in mature non-neural cells such as perivascular cells, dental pulp cells, lymphoidal follicular dendritic cells, basal epithelium of oral mucosa and hair follicles, prostate basal cells, and myoepithelial cells. Anti-NGFR stains the myoepithelial cells of breast ducts and intra-lobular fibroblasts of breast ducts.

Antigen:
Kallikrein 3/PSA

Classification:
Monoclonal

Conjugate:
Alexa Fluor 532

Formulation:
50 mM sodium borate with 0.05% sodium azide

Gene Symbols:
KLK3

Immunogen:
Kallikrein 3/PSA from human sperm plasma (Uniprot: P07288)

Primary or Secondary:
Primary

Test Specificity:
Recognizes a single protein of 33-34kDa, identified as the prostate specific antigen (PSA). This monoclonal antibody is highly specific to PSA and stains prostatic secretory and ductal epithelium in both normal and neoplastic tissues. PSA is a chymotrypsin-like serine protease (kallikrein family) exclusively produced by the prostate epithelium, and abundant in seminal fluid. PSA can be detected in the sera of patients with prostatic carcinoma. It is predominantly complexed to a liver-derived serine protease inhibitor, alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (ACT). A higher proportion of serum PSA is complexed to ACT in prostate cancer than in benign prostate hyperplasia. This monoclonal antibody makes an excellent pair with monoclonal antibody A67-B/E3 for PSA tests.

Content And Storage:
Store at 4°C in the dark.

Applications:
Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin), Immunofluorescence

Clone:

Dilution:
Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin, Immunofluorescence

Gene Alias:
