- MHC Class II (I-Ak) consists of an extracellular domain, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic tail
- The extracellular domain is responsible for interacting with the antigenic peptides, while the transmembrane domain anchors the MHC Class II molecule to the cell membrane
- The cytoplasmic tail plays a role in intracellular signaling events
