  • Binds to the kappa-E2 site in the kappa immunoglobulin gene enhancer
  • Deletions in E2A have been observed in a subset of pre-B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) cases
  • Two alternatively spliced human isoforms have been described.
