- Preparation: This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with purified, recombinant Mouse EPCR (Met1-Ser214) and conjugated with FITC under optimum conditions, the unreacted FITC was removed
- Storage: This antibody can be stored at 2C-8C for twelve months without detectable loss of activity
- Protected from prolonged exposure to light
- Do not freeze! Sodium azide is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly
- Flush with large volumes of water during disposal
- The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for activated protein C, a serine protease activated by and involved in the blood coagulation pathway
- The encoded protein is an N-glycosylated type I membrane protein that enhances the activation of protein C
- Mutations in this gene have been associated with venous thromboembolism and myocardial infarction, as well as with late fetal loss during pregnancy.
