- It governs antigen-receptor-induced NF-kappa-B activation and human lymphoma cell survival
- These kinases are operationally defined by their preferential utilization of acidic proteins such as caseins as substrates
- It can phosphorylate a large number of proteins including CTNNB1, PER1, and PER2
- CSNK1A1 also participates in Wnt signaling
- It may play a role in segregating chromosomes during mitosis, as well as, cytoskeleton diassembly which may regulate epithelial cell migration.
