- Inversely proportional expression of GBP1 and MMP-1 as well as other related molecules to adhesion and migration show a clear functional role of GBP1 in suppressing angiogenesis and migration especially of endothelial cells
- As a regulatory molecule it is centrally involved in signal transduction of inflammatory and cell migration networks.
