Description

• General description: Product Source: HumanKine growth factors are expressed in a proprietary human 293 protein expression system and are manufactured without the use of any animal products and are considered Xeno-Free.
• Application: Engineered bFGF growth factor with enchanced thermostability compared to the wild-type bFGF protein. Allows a less vigorous feeding schedule for human es/ips and neural stem cell culture.
• Quality: Bioactivity assay: Determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of the 3T3 cell line. EC50 is typically ≤0.5 ng/mL.
• Physical form: Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 1X PBS.
• Storage and Stability: Store at -20°C for up to 4 months from date of receipt. Further dilutions should be made into appropriate buffer or medium to which protein has been added.
