• General description: Pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control, provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the preparation of in-house working standards. Sulfanilamide Melting Point Standard, also called Sulfanilamide, is an antibacterial drug. It blocks the synthesis of dihydrofolic acid by inhibiting the enzyme dihydropteroate synthase.
• Application: It was used in a study to demonstrate photodecomposition in aqueous solution of cutaneous photosensitizing agents with the help of spin traps 5, 5-dimethyl-1-pyrroline-1-oxide.[1]
