Description

• General description: Originally developed in Professor Austin Smith′s laboratory, NDiff Neuro-2 Medium Supplement is a serum-free, N2-like supplement for the in vitro differentiation of murine embryonic stem (ES) cells into post-mitotic neurons particularly via monolayer differentiation. This product may also be used in the derivation, propagation and maintenance of mouse NS neural stem cells.
• Physical form: NDiff Neuro-2 Medium Supplement contains Insulin, Apo-Transferrin, Sodium Selenite, Putrescine, and Progesterone. This media supplement is supplied as a 200X stock and should be added to the cell culture medium at a final concentration of 1X.
• Storage and Stability: Maintain at -20 °C until expiration date. Protect from light. Once thawed, aliquot unused portion into smaller volumes and store at -20 °C until future use. Once added to the cell culture medium, the product is stable at 4 °C for four weeks.
