Description

  • General description: N-Ethyldiisopropylamine (EDIA) reacts with monoactivated Michael acceptors to afford symmetrical sulfones.[1]
  • Application: N,N-Diisopropylethylamine (DIPEA), also known as Hünig′s base, is a sterically hindered amine. It is commonly employed as a base in peptide synthesis. Additionally, DIPEA is also used in the Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions, which include Heck coupling and Sonagashira coupling reactions.
