- Biochem/physiol Actions: New type of bacterial, quorum sensing signal compound[1]. Quorum sensing mechanism has been investigated in Rhodopseudomonas palustris, but the signal compound has been discovered in other bacteria such as Bradyrhizobium sp. or Silicibacter pomeroyi.
