- General description: 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-dibenzocyclooctyl (16:0 DBCO PE) is a head group modified lipid containing dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO). It is a widely used reagent in click chemistry.[1]
- Application: 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-dibenzocyclooctyl (16:0 DBCO PE or DPPE-DBCO) has been used in preparation of DBCO-presenting lipid bilayers.[2] It has also been used in preparation of clickable cubosomes for antibody-free drug targeting and imaging applications.[1]
