  • Application: Ammonium acetate has been used:to prepare ammonium acetate buffer[1]in the preparation of mobile phase for LC/MS analysis[2]as a supplement in establishing follicle culture[3]
  • Biochem/physiol Actions: Ammonium acetate can be used in proteinaceous baits and in beer waste to increase their attraction to Ceratitis capitate.[4] It helps in the progression of acetone-butanol-ethanol (ABE) fermentation when it is used as the only nitrogen source.[5]
