Description
- Application: Open the foil pouch, dissolve contents in 900 mL of water; add additional water to a final volume of 1 liter to make a 0.1 M solution at a temperature of 25 °C. No pH adjustment is necessary. Guaranteed accuracy: ±0.1 pH units.Tris has a significant temperature coefficient, so select the mixture to give the desired final pH at the desired temperature. From 5 °C to 25 °C, the pH decreases an average of 0.03 pH units per °C.From 25 °C to 37 °C, the pH decreases an average of 0.025 pH units per °C.If a different concentration is desired, note that there is a concentration effect on the pH of the solution.

- Other Notes: This product is a pre-mixed combination of Trizma base and Trizma HCl in convenient foil pouches that can be used to prepare a common pH value for Tris buffer.
- Preparation Note: Trizma solutions can be autoclaved.
