• General description: Lauric acid finds wide applications in cosmetics and food products. It has been tested for its use as an enhancer for topical penetration and transdermal absorption. It is used as a stabilizer for oil-in-emulsions.[1]Pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control, provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the preparation of in-house working standards.
