Description
- Application: Lithium chloride has been used:in the preparation of wash buffer for chromatin immunoprecipitation[1]in 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay[2]to treat aged myoblast as glycogen synthase kinase (GSK) inhibitor to analyse its effect on wingless/tailess (wnt) signaling[3]
- Biochem/physiol Actions: Lithium chloride has the ability to block glycogen synthase kinase (GSK). It may also possess anti-inflammatory effects at low and non-toxic concentrations.[4]
