  • The reduced levels of Na, K, Ca, Fe, Al, and Mg make the column useful for polar compounds, which tend to interact with the silica surface
  • Reverse phase (RP) HPLC columns are advantageous in ensuring high precision data, they are widely available commercially and are easy to use and less time-consuming
