- The stationary phase is composed of a 10μm, non-porous, solvent compatible ethylvinylbenzene-divinylbenzene copolymer beads that are uniformly coated with a highly hydrophilic layer to reduce nonspecific interactions between the surface and the biopolymer
- The surface of the beads is grafted with SCX functionalized polymer layer providing well-controlled graft density and uniform distribution of chain lengths
