Description

  • General description: Molybdenum disulfide is a two dimensional layered material.[1] Monolayers of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs)exhibit photoconductivity. The layers of the TMD can be mechanically or chemicaly exfoliated to form nanosheets.[2] TMD such as MoS2 shows non linear optical property, it was studied in detail by ns pulsed laser at 1064 nm and 532 nm.[3]
  • Application: Hydrogenation and isomerization catalyst. Photoresponse of MoS2 nanosheets, formed by chemical route was studied.[2] MoS2 may find potential applications in electronics and optoelectronics.[1]
  • Packaging: Packaged in glass bottles
