  • General description: Zirconium(IV) oxynitrate hydrate is an inorganic salt primarily used as a precursor for the synthesis of zirconium nanoparticles, to fabricate Li-ion batteries, and as a catalyst in various chemical reactions.[1] [2]
  • Application: Zirconium(IV) oxynitrate hydrate can be used:As a starting material to prepare electrolytes for Li-ion batteries.[1]For the surface modification of cathodes, to enhance the electrochemical properties of all-solid-state batteries.[3]As a precursor for surfactant-free synthesis of zirconia nanostructures.[4]It can also be used as a catalyst for:Regiospecific alcoholysis and aminolysis of epoxides.[2] One-pot synthesis and oxidation of bis- and tris(indolyl)methanes into conjugated chromophores.[5]
