Description

  • General description: Terbium(III) acetate hydrate is a crystalline compound with a high boiling and melting point. Due to its luminescent properties, it is mainly used as a precursor to produce phosphors, scintillators, catalysts, and magneto-optic materials.
  • Application: Terbium(III) acetate hydrate can be used:As a precursor to prepare terbium oxide catalyst.[1]As a surface passivator to fabricate photoluminescent carbon quantum dots.[2]As a dopant to prepare Li co-doped ZnO nanoparticles which can be applied in electro-optic and magnetic devices.[3] As a sol-gel precursor to prepare lead zirconate titanate thin films.[4]
