Description

  • General description: Trichlorovinylsilane may react with lithium-tert-butyl, and 1,3-enynes to yield isomeric silacyclobutanes and silacyclobutenes respectively.[1]
  • Application: A study reports the possible use of this silane for treating Pluronic F127, chitosan for better attachment and proliferation of endothelial cells on biomaterials. [2] Trichlorovinylsilane may be used to prepare epoxy terminated carbosiloxane.[3]
