  • Application: Electrospun cellulose acetate/activated carbon composite modified by EDTA: This study explores the application of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid dianhydride in creating efficient dye removal systems from water. The modification led to significant improvements in adsorption properties (Elmaghraby et al., 2023). Application of a new chitosan derivative for adsorption of copper (II) and oxyanions of chromium (VI): This research describes the use of ethylenediaminetetraacetic dianhydride as a modifier in creating bioadsorbents from chitosan, targeting heavy metal and dye removal from wastewater (Lucena de Sousa et al., 2024).
