Description

  • Application: Poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether thiol can be used to functionalize Fe3O4@Au core-shell nanoparticles. The thiolated PEG increases the water solubility and significantly lowers the nanotoxicity. It can be used as a precursor to synthesize PEG conjugated poly(β-amino ester) polyplexes for gene therapy.
