General description: Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) is an oligomer of ethylene oxide which is majorly used as a synthetic polymer. Its properties include hydrophilicity, biocompatibility, and low cost that make it useful in biomedical hydrogels.[1][2][3]
Application: PEG can be used in a variety of applications ranging from drug delivery,[4] biomedical applications and energy storage.[5]
