  • Application: Boric anhydride also referred to as boron trioxide or boron oxide (B2O3) has been used for preparing specimens of Bi4B2O9 ceramics.[1] It has also been used for WO3/B2O3/Al system for investigating the impact of Ar gas pressure on the SHS reaction products.[2]
  • Biochem/physiol Actions: Boric anhydride is an oxide of boron that shows antimicrobial property along with lower aminoalcohols.[3]
